Indeed it was, and you're right, the gamble did pay off. The real question is, what happens now?
Keep JD on that wing, and see what KK can do with the extra space that having a player of Drouins calibre on the line can bring?
Weal played a solid game in his first outing...do we slot him in on the 4th line wing, or maybe on the 3rd line wing, and have him and Thompson/KK switch out the centre duties based on which side of the ice the draw is taken on?
Having so many centres is a real luxury that we should take advantage of.
I'll say this, though: If Weal continues his strong play, it's officially the death of Charles Hudon with the organization.

Will Julien play Price until the end??

Don't think he can afford to start Miemi once...

I think he can take the Anaheim game. Is it a risk? Sure? But we need to take some of the load off Carey, or it won't matter if we make the playoffs.

(By the way, the collaboration Serj did with O.R.k is pretty good... Black Blooms is the song name.)

He's been done for a while. Don't know if they're gonna be able to trade him or they just won't offer him any contract and he'll walk free.

So, is KK still sitting out tomorrow? Suppose Weal's gonna stay in the lineup since he scored...

And from what I saw he looked pretty decent. Maybe someone else could sit the next one out to let KK in...?

good question. difficult to say, was the plan to give him a game or a week?
I trust CJ will do for the best, he did manage the kid very so far, why would he suddenly go wrong?

Could sit out Weise but you'd have to move Weal to the wing.

Right... Anyways if KK is out again for next game, I just hope it doesn't start playing with his confidence. It's not like he's making glaring mistakes every night

I think he's one of the best players on the team almost every game.

Niemi should start tomorrow without question. SJ is dominant at home and Montreal even at its best matches up terribly with the Sharks. they're losing that game regardless, so you want to have Price fresh for the back to back in Anaheim. that game will be a must win.

Precisely. And while the NHL isn't a developmental league, he's good enough so that he can hang in there while learning and continuing to improve his game

Must be distraught over his team winning without him. Downward spiral imminent.

And who knows, Niemi might surprise us with 50 saves and a huge win

I've said it since the beginning! Resting KK for Weal was the BEST idea!

Screw the doubters! Julien is a genius!
